The car rental Washington and the car rental San Juan are accused to charge extra rent over the actual one an several customers have allegedly reported about this to the local newspapers.
According to the recent reviews, that were being published in the year of 2009, these car rental companies often adds some extra charges and taxes with the actual rental amount. Several taxes were imposed on the rental amount and they are the effect of the strict government policies. Other charges are unnecessary and hence they can be easily avoided.
Not all companies necessarily over charge the customers. The locals as have rated reputed companies like Avis, Hertz, Budget and Sixt to have the highest customer satisfaction rate and the rent that they charge are reasonable and cheap. So the tourists are often suggested to hire their cars from a reputed company and avoid the small local ones.
