Reserving With Zip Cars November 13, 2010 at 8:19 am



I have used many Zip cars, but this past week I was completely disappointed. I have reserved the car three weeks ago & got a call twenty minutes after my booking had started saying that “car would be not there until two hours after scheduled time.” Reservation has to start on 1:30… & was now not available till 3:40. This was completely unacceptable, considering that I have reserved a car to be on wedding that was a HOUR drive from the Boston car rentals Tampa. After spending ten minutes in hold I set to get other Zip car one mile away & after being stocked in traffic, has been only forty-five minutes LATE.

Worst part of problem was, of being super stressed & late, was that a company provided me minimal apology & no compensation as well. They provided to pay for cab ride from zip car location to other, but rather than NOTHING. I have been charged for certain time I reserved a car for… you recognize… while it WAS NOT THERE at car rentals Boston.

I am very disappointed. I will stop telling my own friends what the great service this was now….

I was the Zip car driver for two years now & for two years I raved over concept & encouraged other people to join. It is still a greatest concept but like other recent reviewers, I have noted the poor customer service trends for past six months. One week ago I was waiting on hold for eighteen minutes for rep. If your car from car rentals Hawaii is not there you may have to speak with somebody else to find another thus you need to allow additional time. Twice I left the stuff in car by accident & was basically told “very bad” – I am not allowed to recover my possessions because there was the reservation on me.
